We're currently looking for an Engineering Programme Manager to lead engineering projects across our Boston, Spalding, and Wisbech sites. As the successful candidate, you'll be responsible for managing two Engineering Project Managers, overseeing 40+ projects, and ensuring the delivery of agreed return on capital investment objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Applying governance across the cluster capital programme to ensure the Capital management process is understood, deployed, and executed in line with the business's Capital management policy.
  • Partnering with Site General Managers and Operations Directors to raise the cluster capital plan and monitor and control capital investment spending to ensure cash flow is aligned with agreed budgets.
  • Overseeing the delivery of multi-site or large strategic projects to ensure the delivery of agreed return on capital investment objectives.
  • Proactively managing end-to-end project or change implementation within well-defined timelines and budgets, covering all facets of implementation, ensuring that project objectives are achieved.

What we're looking for:
  • Confident management of a team.
  • Experience of overseeing multiple sites.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.
  • Previous evidence of performing highly complex work activities covering engineering, technical, financial, health, safety, and quality aspects.
  • Understanding of relevant technologies and practices in an FMCG environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a robust project and programme methodology/best practice.
  • Experience with a recognised project delivery method such as PMI/PRINCE2.
