Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a high-quality clinical service in collaboration with the Advanced Practitioner therapist

- Undertake physical treatments utilizing highly developed manual skills, in-depth knowledge of pain sciences, and the physiology of exercise
- Extended scope skills and an advanced understanding of the intricacies of communication with respect to the psychosocial predictors of health
- Degree/Graduate Diploma in a relevant therapy
- HCPC Registered
- Postgraduate qualifications or Masters level equivalent knowledge, training, and significant experience
- Extended scope skills, e.g., clinical examination skills or working towards
- Able to demonstrate continuing professional development, e.g., up-to-date, relevant CPD portfolio
- Membership of an appropriate special interest group
- CSP member
- Advanced clinical practice and clinical reasoning skills to specialist level
- Able to critique research papers and implement relevant findings
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to process and share highly complex information in a confidential manner
- Demonstrate professional independence
- Ability to conduct professional affairs in a confident, assertive manner, using negotiating/influencing skills while maintaining excellent working relationships with all stakeholders

The successful candidate will be able to work in a busy clinical environment, with periods of interruption throughout the working day. The role will require the ability to undertake manual handling tasks in line with Health Board Policies and sustain moderate to high-level physical effort throughout the working day.
