Accounts Technician / Senior Accountant

Clark Wood is working with a growing firm of Chartered Accountants in the North East to find an experienced Accounts Technician / Senior Accountant to join their team in Bishop Auckland.

The ideal candidate will have excellent experience of working within practice, with strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks. As an Accounts Technician / Senior Accountant, your role will be varied and will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax computations and returns.
  2. Experience of preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts in an accountancy practice using an accounting software package.
Requirements:
  1. AAT Qualified or QBE (ACCA / ACA students will also be considered).
  2. Up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards.
