About the Role:

As a Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist at Sciensus, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cancer. You will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments, managing patient care plans, and maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan.
  • Deliver patient-focused care, offering quality nursing that is tailored to the patient's needs.
  • Document all clinical data and report adverse drug events via the correct protocol.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to support treatment and recovery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and demonstrate clinical competency, ensuring compliance with business policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence is essential for regional travel to visit patients at home.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in chemotherapy treatment.
