About the Role
Friar Gate Surgery is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments as needed.
- Process patient payments, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Collaborate with other members of the practice team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using practice management software.
