Job Title: Driver/Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our Engineering team at a leading medical and surgical products company based in Banbury. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of stock and orders to customer sites and hospitals across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive company vehicles to customer sites and hospitals to collect and deliver stock and orders.
  • Verify the accuracy and condition of delivered items, ensuring they are free from damage and delivered on time.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team in Kidderminster to coordinate deliveries and collections.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in good condition at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience driving vans and making deliveries is essential.
  • A clean driving license is preferred, although a maximum of up to 6 points will be considered.
  • A background or interest in engineering, specifically with medical devices, is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role and moving items that can be heavy.
Additional Information:
  • This is a full-time temporary role for 3-6 months with core hours of Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, although flexibility will be needed for deliveries and collections further afield.
  • There is potential for a full-time position within the Engineering department as a Field Engineer for candidates with a background or interest in engineering.
