We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our Engineering team at a leading medical and surgical products company based in Banbury. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of stock and orders to customer sites and hospitals across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive company vehicles to customer sites and hospitals to collect and deliver stock and orders.
- Verify the accuracy and condition of delivered items, ensuring they are free from damage and delivered on time.
- Liaise with the warehouse team in Kidderminster to coordinate deliveries and collections.
- Maintain the company vehicle in good condition at all times.
- Previous experience driving vans and making deliveries is essential.
- A clean driving license is preferred, although a maximum of up to 6 points will be considered.
- A background or interest in engineering, specifically with medical devices, is desirable but not essential.
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role and moving items that can be heavy.
- This is a full-time temporary role for 3-6 months with core hours of Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, although flexibility will be needed for deliveries and collections further afield.
- There is potential for a full-time position within the Engineering department as a Field Engineer for candidates with a background or interest in engineering.
