Job Title: Director of Permaculture Design

At Corporate Office - UK (London), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Permaculture Design to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our commitment to environmental responsibility and promoting eco-friendly practices throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sustainable landscape concepts and strategies that align with our brand standards and values.
  • Lead the development of new hotel projects and provide support to operational properties as needed, ensuring compliance with our sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our Home Office Technical Services and Sustainability teams to drive innovation and resource efficiency, and promote progressive methods for composting and waste management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key community organizations and representatives, identifying opportunities for enhancing existing or adding new partnerships.
  • Contribute to a productive design process, providing thoughtful and specific feedback to project teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in organic agriculture, landscape architecture, or a closely-related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a permaculture-related role or landscape architecture within hospitality, with proven results.
  • Solid understanding of the latest trends and techniques in permaculture, with the ability to successfully implement sustainability initiatives.
  • Advanced technology skills, including MS Office and Outlook platforms, and excellent command of written and spoken English.
