Job Description

**Procurement Operations Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team at Round Peg Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely order placement and management of supplier delivery performance in line with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery in line with operational performance requirements with an allocated supplier portfolio.
  • Prepare and place purchase orders for an allocated supplier portfolio.
  • Analyse MRP output and identify/tracking where system changes occur that impact supply base, to implement corrective actions and obtain accurate demand signals.
  • Align and schedule suppliers in line with Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Maintain material master supplier data within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Support the optimization of inventory by deferring early order signals and expediting late order signals to achieve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to standard work tools, managing supplier order books, and ensuring continuity of supply in line with business needs.
  • Maintain supplier promise dates to ensure the most up-to-date and accurate information is obtained from the supplier and available in the system, to aid with Material in Forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' procurement experience.
  • Supplier relationship management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and planning skills.
  • Proactive and 'can-do' approach.

Desirable:

  • BSc degree, or equivalent in Business.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and processes.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
