Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs.

Job Description:

Location: England, Greater London, Harrow

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' learning experience
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as SENCOs and parents, to support students effectively
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Understanding of SEN regulations and best practices
Education and Experience:

Minimum of a relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience working as an SEN Tutor

Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students
  • Potential involvement in parent meetings and SEN reviews
  • Collaboration with other professionals in the education sector

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
