Job Title: Senior Legal Technologist

Fortnum & Mason is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our New Product Development process, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products developed and launched meet external commitments, product safety, and legal due diligence requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the technical and CSR aspects of the F&M New Product Development process for Category Own label products and proprietary brands.
  • Ensure all products meet external commitments, product safety, and legal due diligence requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, risk, and traceability, and implement a sustainable supplier quality management system.
  • Coordinate and provide quantifiable metrics for supplier performance against Technical & CSR targets and Operational procedures.
  • Provide regular updates on NPD project status and flag potential issues in advance.
Requirements:
  • Scientific degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical area in retailing or manufacturing.
  • Experience in influencing cross-functional teams to deliver new processes.
  • Gated development process experience is a key requirement.
  • Supplier auditing experience, specification creation, and sign-off experience is required.
