Radiology Consultant

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a Consultant Radiologist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical service to patients, including the interpretation of imaging studies and the provision of expert advice to other healthcare professionals.
Main Duties:
- Interpret a high volume of imaging studies, including plain radiographs, CT and MRI scans
- Provide expert advice to other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and radiographers
- Participate in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures
- Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs for radiographers and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in the quality assurance and quality improvement activities of the radiology department

Requirements:
- FRCR or equivalent qualification in radiology
- Full registration with the GMC and eligibility to join the specialist register
