Job Title: Head Chef

Join COREcruitment, a leading recruitment agency, in our mission to find the best talent for our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen team, creating menus, and delivering high-end food to outstanding events. As a Head Chef, you will be expected to:

  • Oversee food production, packing, and delivery of all events
  • Develop seasonal menus and manage kitchen financials
  • Conduct monthly stock takes and manage the team of full-time and freelance chefs
  • Create specs for all menus created
  • Recruit and mentor additional chefs where required
  • Conduct spot checks of food quality and kitchen cleanliness to ensure the 5-star standard
Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as a Head Chef in an event catering company, banqueting, hotels, or restaurants. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to guide and manage a team
  • Be a creative chef always thinking of new ideas
  • Passionate about food
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings
  • Long-term future in the business is wanted
