Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Planning and Estimating: Develop and implement cost plans, estimates, and budgets for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Pre-contract Estimating: Conduct thorough pre-contract estimating of underground heating systems, taking into account various factors that may impact costs.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to negotiate contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Final Accounts: Prepare and finalize project accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project costs, timelines, or quality.
- Cost Monitoring: Regularly monitor project costs, tracking expenses and variances to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Cost Value Reconciliation: Develop and implement cost value reconciliation processes to ensure accurate tracking of project costs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of construction costs, estimating, and budgeting principles.
