Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide high-level support for teaching and learning for pupils attending our brand-new autism provision at Ark Brunel Primary Academy.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their skills and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level support for teaching and learning for pupils with autism or special educational needs
- Lead learning and activities at a whole-class level
- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with autism or special educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver lessons
- Support pupils with autism or special educational needs in a positive and patient manner
- Experience working with pupils who have autism or special educational needs
- Good knowledge of autism-specific strategies
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
