Job Title: Security Officer
Job Summary:
ABM is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a leading provider of facility services, ABM has been serving various locations, including shopping centers, commercial buildings, and airports, since 1987. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter vandalism, theft, and other security threats.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action and reporting incidents to the relevant authorities.
- Enforce security procedures and regulations, including checking identification and conducting bag searches if necessary.
- Monitor security systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify any unusual activity or breaches.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and handle physical security tasks.
- Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License.
