Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at ABM UK. As a leading provider of facility services in the UK, we pride ourselves on delivering award-winning solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
  • Conduct regular patrols to deter vandalism, theft, and other security threats.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action and reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Enforce security procedures and regulations, including checking identification and conducting bag searches if necessary.
  • Monitor security systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify unusual activity or breaches.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly and professionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and handle physical security tasks.
  • Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License.
