We are currently seeking applications for four Small Animal Rotating Interns to join our dynamic team at the University of Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. As a rotating intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience across a range of specialties, working closely with our experienced staff and mentors.

This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of veterinary medicine, with opportunities to develop your skills in anaesthesia, behaviour, cardiology, clinical pathology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, exotics, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, pathology, and soft tissue surgery. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and participating in ongoing research projects.

Our Hospital for Small Animals is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, providing the ideal environment for learning and professional development. As part of our team, you will benefit from access to continuing education programmes, including weekly seminars, practical sessions, journal clubs, board review sessions, specialty rounds, and book clubs. You will also have the opportunity to pursue a research project, supported by your mentor and our academic staff.
