Mobile Plant Engineer Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy plant machinery, ensuring that our equipment is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy plant machinery, including hydraulic systems, axles, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of our plant equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our equipment and its operation to provide expert guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2, 3 or equivalent, with experience in construction, HGV, or agricultural heavy plant machinery sectors, including servicing and maintenance.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions (manual and power shift), cam-bus electrical systems, and similar machinery.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
