Job Title: Associate Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, from development to launch and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and drive plans to improve product quality, working with other key functions.
  • Receive and act on customer feedback and internal data to improve product quality.
  • Represent quality as part of the wider product team.
  • Perform independent quality data reviews to support QC, stability, and consistency assessments.
  • Have supply chain oversight to ensure materials sourced from suppliers meet quality standards.
  • Oversee and manage the complaint management system and facilitate investigations.
  • Make real-time decisions on product quality and halt product disposition if necessary.
  • Develop and implement a product quality plan to achieve quality objectives.
  • Communicate with colleagues on quality concerns and identify training requirements.
  • Manage and develop quality within production teams.
  • Own and run disciplined review meetings to drive assessment of performance and identify risk areas.
  • Ensure quality records are completed in accordance with good documentation practices.
  • Identify training needs and establish product quality training programmes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in the Life Sciences industry in a related Product Quality management role.
  • Proven experience of leading and managing product quality.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with change controls, non-conformances, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.
  • Proven experience in developing risk-based quality programmes.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and deliver tasks and special projects with minimal supervision.
