Sheffield School Support Assistant

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and hands-on individual to support local schools as a School Caretaker in Sheffield. Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated caretakers to work on a supply basis with schools across the city, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the school premises, ensuring they are clean, safe, and secure.
  • Handle general maintenance and minor repairs to keep the facilities in good condition.
  • Manage site security and unlock/lock up the school at the end of each day.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a caretaker, site manager, or in a similar maintenance role is desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check is required.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible is preferred.
Estimated Salary:

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
