We are looking for an experienced and passionate Staff Nurse to join our Critical Care team in the Cardiac ICU and General ICU at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your critical care skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This role offers the chance to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, caring for critically ill patients and contributing to the development of our Critical Care Education team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised patient care, working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have recent post-registration experience within critical care or high care and will be committed to continuing professional development. We offer a comprehensive education package, including induction training and an in-house Foundation programme, to support your career growth.

The estimated salary for this role is £26,408 - £35,567 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties
  1. Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct at all times.
  2. Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of standards of care, using Fundamentals of Care as a framework, ensuring that Corporate and nursing objectives are achieved.
  3. Adopt a pro-active role in meeting the Clinical Governance agenda for Critical Care.
