About the Role:
Atlantis Medical Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As an Inpatient Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering mental health care to individuals with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient response, ensuring all procedures comply with NHS guidelines.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patients in managing their mental health.
- Provide immediate care and support to patients in mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards, ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times.
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Requirements:
- NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Minimum of 6 months of NHS experience in a mental health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach
