Job Title: Powder Coater/Painter

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater/Painter to work in various sites across North Wales & North West area.

About the Role:
  • wet spraying 2-pack synthetic paints
  • using a powder-coating oven
  • applying the powder coat process to steel components
  • setting up the flow of powder from guns to achieve the required thickness of paint
  • visual inspections of coated parts
  • ensuring that the correct powder is used and of the correct quality
  • clean down of all equipment and that there is no colour contamination ready for the next process
Requirements:
  • previous experience in a similar role
  • previous experience of powder coating - ESSENTIAL
  • previous experience of paint spraying
  • previous experience using hand tools & power tools
  • previous experience working in a production environment
  • engineering qualification BENEFICIAL
Key Skills:
  • paint spraying skills
  • powder coating expertise
  • production environment experience

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an hourly rate of £15 (dependent on experience), paid overtime at 1.5x, and a chance to secure permanent employment.
