Building Code Enforcement Officer Job SummaryAbout the Position:

iPeople Solutions is seeking a Building Code Enforcement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing building codes and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

This role involves carrying out fire risk assessments, developing and implementing a quality assurance programme, and providing expert advice to colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out thorough fire risk assessments across all of our housing stock.
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance programme to ensure the FRA programme is delivered on time and to the required standard.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation through regular audits and performance data analysis.
  • Provide technical expertise to the Fire Safety Team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with PAS:79:2020 format of fire risk assessment.
  • Fire safety qualification, NEBOSH or similar recognised Fire Safety Certificate Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the fire safety sector, property management or similar sector.
  • Experience of working in a building compliance or fire service environment.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
