Veterinary Room Technician

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Room Technician to join our team at Broadviewvet in Rochester, NH. As a Veterinary Room Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lots of snuggles, cuddles, and kisses with our patients
  2. Client education on animal care and wellness
  3. Taking/recording weights and patient check-in
  4. Phlebotomy (we will teach the right candidate)
  5. Restraint for medical procedures
  6. Give vaccinations and perform nail trims
  7. Filling prescriptions for pet owners
  8. Scheduling follow-up appointments for continued care
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 1 year experience working in a customer service environment, preferably in an animal hospital or shelter
  2. Nail trims, blood draws, routine animal care, animal restraint, give vaccines, and fill prescriptions are essential skills
Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
