About the Role:

Our community pharmacies play a vital part in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our customers. As a leading Co-operative Pharmacy group, we're passionate about providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

As a Relief Pharmacy Services Assistant, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team that works together to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. You'll have the opportunity to work in various branches across central Lincoln and the surrounding villages, contributing to a wide range of duties, including:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations.
  • Ensuring every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes.
  • Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions.
  • Assisting with sales and general store duties, including creating product displays and cash transactions.

About You:

We're looking for individuals with a genuine passion for customer service and a desire to be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

  • A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues.
  • An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients.
  • An enthusiasm and talent for problem-solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences.
  • A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you.
  • Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
  • As travel will be required within this role, you will need to hold a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
