**Job Overview:**

VGC is seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of site layout plans, ensuring proper placement of structures and utilities in accordance with design specifications and regulations.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Identify and address any technical issues or construction challenges on-site, providing effective solutions to keep the project on track.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles to ensure quality and efficiency on-site.
  • Able to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and quality.
  • Proficient in coordinating resources, managing schedules, and overseeing multiple tasks to ensure the timely delivery of construction projects.
  • High level of accuracy in reviewing technical drawings, conducting inspections, and ensuring work aligns with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effectively liaising with team members, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
