Job Title: Remedial Electrician

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Portsmouth area, covering commercial properties

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Remedial Electrician to join our team at TXM Recruit. As a Remedial Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial works following Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and completing minor works/installation certificates as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out remedial works following EICR and complete minor works/installation certificates as required
  • Complete installation works on LED lighting upgrades
  • Carry out small installation works in commercial environments
  • Carry out EICR and Emergency light tests as required
  • Work in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Requirements:

  • Hold appropriate qualifications, including C&G 2391 or 2394/95 and C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) Level 3 in Electrical installations
  • Have previous experience of testing in a similar environment
  • Hold a full current driving license
  • Have a positive attitude, flexible approach to work, and ability to adapt to clients' needs
  • Be able to work unsupervised, use initiative, and have good attention to detail

  • Starting basic salary of £42k with on-target earnings reaching up to £45k per year
