About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Shepway Community Team in Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social care services to adults with varying care and support needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act Assessments, and Court of Protection applications
  • Conduct s42 safeguarding enquiries and manage risk
  • Supervise other members of staff and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Engage with communities to empower individuals and their families to access local support
About You

We welcome applications from experienced Social Workers who possess a registration with Social Work England and are competent to work at the Experienced Practitioner level of the Social Care Capabilities Framework. You will have a positive, forward-thinking attitude and be able to demonstrate experience in strengths-based practice, risk management, and supervision.

Requirements

This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service and registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England. You will also need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence, although reasonable adjustments will be made for candidates with disabilities.
