About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at South57 Recruitment. As a key member of our property care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of fixtures and fittings
  • Work closely with our property managers to develop and implement long-term maintenance plans
  • Ensure all properties are safe and secure for residents
Requirements
  • Experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
  • First aid at work certification or willingness to learn
  • Experience of health and safety procedures or willingness to learn
  • Full clean driving license
  • Previous experience in a similar role
Desirable Skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues in a timely manner
