Clinical Lead in Neurophysiology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Lead in Neurophysiology to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be a senior clinician with a proven track record of leadership and management, with experience of clinical governance and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to a team of clinicians and staff in Neurophysiology
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Work closely with other senior clinicians and managers to develop and implement strategic plans for Neurophysiology services
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Neurophysiology services and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other departments and teams within the Trust

Requirements:

  • Senior clinician with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Experience of clinical governance and patient safety
  • Ability to think and act strategically and to articulate a clear vision and sense of direction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Ability to lead change and improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
