About the Job:
We're looking for a highly competent and motivated Asset Care Engineer to join our Engineering Team, based at our Brackley site.
You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. As an Asset Care Engineer, you'll work Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Manager, responsible for all equipment in an area
- Maintain a high level of reliability and availability of factory equipment through an effective planned maintenance regime
- Responsible for the gathering and analysis of equipment efficiency and downtime to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Raising of Planned Maintenance or reactive maintenance jobs for respective area
- Review of all completed job sheets in respective area
- Production of downtime data for weekly meetings
- Lead and support installation and capital projects
- Communicate and collaborate with other colleagues, suppliers, and contractors
- Understanding of engineering and operational KPIs and be able to identify areas for improvement
- Interact with on-shift engineers and other site engineering teams to resolve challenging equipment problems
- Support the Site Principal Engineer and engineering peers to develop robust weekly and monthly maintenance plans that improve asset availability and equipment performance
- Coordinate OEM engineer service visits with production and planning teams and scheduling further work that arises from those inspections
- Oversee equipment calibrations and complete and review PUWER assessments to maintain equipment compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Ability to problem solve
- Good IT ability
