A well-established, family-run business operating in the leisure industry is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join their growing team.

This part- or fully-qualified (CIMA, ACCA) role reports to the Finance Director and has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance team. Responsibilities include management reporting, month-end requirements, revenue processing, working capital control, and cost management analysis. The role will also support finance change projects related to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the finance team and oversight of the day-to-day running of the finance function.
  • Production of the monthly profit and loss accounts for the care homes.
  • Balance sheet analysis and working capital control.
  • Development of the management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, including bank covenant reporting.
  • Supporting growth management projects by providing analysis and reporting.
  • Providing backup for day-to-day finance requirements as needed.

You will be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) although QBE candidates will be considered. It is essential that you have excellent Excel skills (lookups, modeling) as well as a good understanding of ERP systems.
