Primary SEN Support Assistant Position in Wakefield

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Accelerate Teaching, supporting a Year 1 child with ADHD in a primary school environment.
Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will have substantial experience working in a school-based environment, particularly with children who require tailored support. The role involves providing one-on-one assistance and adapting teaching methods to meet the child's unique needs.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to a Year 1 child with ADHD, adapting teaching methods as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages academic and social growth
Salary: £90-£100 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Substantial experience working in a school-based environment, preferably with children who require tailored support
- A deep understanding of creating a structured and supportive environment that enables children to thrive
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
