Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer of print supplies in the commercial and security print sectors. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time, and managing a team of production personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production resources and schedules to meet customer lead times
  • Oversee the smooth running of the production operation, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime
  • Train and develop production personnel, conducting performance reviews as needed
  • Maintain quality assurance in line with the company's ISO process
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve processes
  • Ensure operational activities are on time and within quality control specifications
  • Track staffing requirements and performance
  • Provide leadership and promote organizational vision
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for staff use
  • Train and mentor staff at all levels

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a production management or supervisory role
  • Proven track record in managing production resources and schedules
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Computer literacy, with experience using Excel and other Microsoft programs
  • Maths and English qualifications
