About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at Simply Business. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in protecting our business and our customers from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective security strategies to mitigate risks and protect our systems and data.
  • Lead the analysis and response to security incidents, working closely with our security operations team and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure that our applications and systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our security culture and awareness programs, promoting a culture of security and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide expert advice and guidance to our team and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior cyber security role, with a strong background in security operations and incident response.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management.
