We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Romford. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance, with a four-day work week and no out-of-hours responsibilities. We prioritize our team's professional growth and well-being.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional animal care and be part of a supportive environment that values collaboration and patient-centered treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide variety of small animal cases
  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures with a commitment to the highest standards of care
  • Collaborate closely with the team to develop patient treatment plans and ensure continuity of care
  • Engage in regular consultations and provide compassionate advice to clients
  • Take part in a rotating weekend schedule (1 in 3 weekends)

Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree and current RCVS registration
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills, with experience in small animal practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clients feel informed and supported
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
