We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment Limited. As a refuse collection driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on behalf of the local council within the Spalding area.

The role involves manual handling to aid in the collection and disposal of refuse. To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A valid Class 2 C entitlement driving licence.
  • CPC entitlement.
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points for minor traffic offenses.

This is a temp to perm opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £15.11. Overtime is paid at time and a half for any hours worked over 9.5 hours per shift, with a rate of £18.88.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required on bank holiday weekends. The shift pattern includes a 0600 start time, averaging 8–9-hour shifts.

As a valued member of our team, you will receive 28 days holiday per year pro rata.
