Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV driver to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment. As a Class 2 HGV Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of refuse in the Spalding area on behalf of the local council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of refuse in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily targets
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies
Requirements
  • Class 2 C entitlement driving license
  • CPC entitlement
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor traffic offenses
Working Conditions
  • Monday - Fridays (Saturdays required on bank holiday weekends)
  • 0600 start time
  • Averaging 8–9-hour shifts
Compensation
  • £15.11 p/h Basic
  • £18.88 Overtime paid at time and a half any hours over 9.5 hours per shift
