About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Smart Managed Solutions. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on electrical plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Respond to and resolve electrical faults and defects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage and maintain electrical assets, including spares and inventory, to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Develop and implement management tools to track and report on electrical system performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical maintenance and repair tasks.

Requirements:

  • Formal training in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.
  • 18th Edition BS7671 City and Guilds certification.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
