Job Overview

As a Mechanical Technician at Liberty Speciality Steels, you will be part of a multi-disciplined diagnostic team responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance. You will support the departments Shift Management team (Production and Engineering) to ensure Safety, Quality, and Production Plans are all met.

The team may be requested to assist across-site as required to support the business objectives. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and repairs on mechanical equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Support shift management in ensuring safety, quality, and production plans are met
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures
Requirements
