Job Title: Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Natural Resources team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and health and safety compliance.
Requirements:
  • A Level 6 qualification in Construction Site Management (NVQ or apprenticeship) or Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Diploma (HND) in Construction or a related field.
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card – Supervisor - Gold, Experienced Supervisor or Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience within the Major Projects (Non Infrastructure) sector within the water industry, with a predominantly MEICA background.
