A committed and experienced Year 5 Teacher is required to join the dedicated team of a thriving primary school in Richmond. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled educator who is keen to develop their teaching practice and contribute to the academic success of their students.

The school is committed to academic excellence and personal development, ensuring that Year 5 students are supported to achieve their full potential. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be working in a collaborative and dynamic environment where your contributions will be valued.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating lessons to Year 5 students that align with the National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and setting achievable goals for Year 5 learners.
  • Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and a love of learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the Year 5 curriculum is delivered effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss the progress and wellbeing of Year 5 students.

Salary: London MPS1 UPS3 (£60,000 - £90,000 per annum).

We require a candidate with:

  • PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 5 students in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
