Faculty Leader

Kenton School in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Faculty Dean. As a Faculty Dean, you will play a key role in driving performance improvements in teaching and learning, working closely with our faculty to develop and implement effective strategies to enhance student outcomes. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective people, resource, and financial management, with the ability to think and act strategically to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will also be responsible for using data effectively to inform decision-making and present views and opinions in discussion to contribute to positive outcomes. The Faculty Dean will be a key member of our leadership team, working closely with the Principal and other senior leaders to drive school improvement. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of effective safeguarding procedures.
