This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautifully converted barn with wonderful outdoor spaces, providing nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals for our children.

We are looking for someone who shares our vision at Storal to be the nursery group that every family and educator wants to be part of. Our values are built around creating a supportive environment for teams and children, and we believe in high standards, praising each other, pulling together as a team, and actively helping others to grow.

About the role:

  • Prepare and serve balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery, catering for children with specific dietary needs
  • Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety, and within the guidelines of Ofsted
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure stock rotation
  • Be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines
  • Deputise for the Cook in all absences, with the expectation of deputising full-time when required

About you:

  • Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness, and working together
