Maintenance Operative Specialist

We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our team at NEAS, providing care and education for autistic and/or neurodivergent children, young people, and adults across the North-east of England.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of £28,190.48 per annum. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our facilities and ensuring that they are safe and comfortable for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairs and replacements
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working order
- Report any safety concerns or issues to management
We are looking for a friendly, people-centred individual with good communication skills who can build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and visitors. While professional experience is required, it is not essential to have previously worked in an education or care setting or with autistic children and young people.
