  • Assignment Rate: £38 per hour
  • Contract: Locum, 3-Months
  • Hours: Full-time

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, providing support to vulnerable children and families in need. Key duties include:

  • Regular case supervision and escalating concerns to the manager as necessary to ensure the child's safety and wellbeing are prioritized.
  • Representing the Council at Court, acting as a lead witness and leading care proceedings confidently without direct supervision.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant frontline experience working in Children's Services as a Social Worker.
  • Experience working in long-term fieldwork/child protection teams, particularly in care proceedings.
