About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Claranet. As a key member of our Cyber Security function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the security and compliance of our clients' IT systems.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure that our clients' employees understand the importance of security and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure that our clients' IT systems are protected.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of security reports and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and growth of our Cyber Security services offerings.
  • Fulfill any re-certification requirements and CPE obligations required to complete duties.

Desirable Competencies

  • Any exposure to audit frameworks; PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.
  • Exposure to Amazon's and/or Microsoft's cloud platforms.
  • GDPR Experience.
  • SOC 2 Experience.
  • NIST Experience.
  • Full UK driving license (for UK recruitment).
  • Experience managing client projects.
  • Information security consulting experience.
