Workforce Services Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Services Officer to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Workforce Services team, you will provide a high-quality, efficient, and responsive transactional and first-line advisory service to Trust managers and staff.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and support on a range of transactional and operational issues across all areas of the Trust for non-medical workforce issues. This will include updating the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) for any approved changes to staff records and ensuring the correct authorization processes have been followed and are within the framework of the national terms and conditions for Agenda for Change.
The Workforce Services Officer will also be required to analyze complex payroll queries and liaise with the Trust's payroll provider to resolve such issues and ensure Trust staff salary payments are correct.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have 12 months of electronic staff record data input experience, NHS HR experience, and customer service experience. Payroll experience and the ability to work as part of a team are also desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
