Communications Improvement Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Communications Improvement Officer to join our Support and Improvement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stakeholders have the information they need to deliver well-run elections.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Communications Oversight

You will be responsible for overseeing communications to internal and external stakeholders, providing them with timely and accurate information about our work.

Engagement Data Management

You will administer the collection and collation of engagement data to support the monitoring of performance standards and to enable us to assess preparation for electoral events.

Consultation Coordination

You will coordinate consultation activities for the team on various improvement initiatives, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.

Event Planning and Administration

You will lead the planning, organization, and administration of meetings, events, team activities, and intranet pages to maintain connectivity and engagement across the team.

Requirements

  1. Excellent Communication Skills

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and accessible formats.

Stakeholder Relationship Building

You will be comfortable building stakeholder relationships and tailoring information to suit different audiences.

Organizational Skills

You will have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous projects and maintain enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail in fast-paced settings.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities

You will have strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with experience working in a public or third sector organization being desirable.
